Last Epoch Omnis Guide

Quick Answer

Farm eligible Shade encounters or Confluence of Oblivion at the required corruption. Compare the particular Omnis roll with your current amulet; a drop does not guarantee a useful replacement.

For an Omnis Last Epoch farm, reach at least 200 corruption in an empowered timeline and defeat eligible Shade of Orobyss encounters. Confluence of Oblivion Woven Echo is another acquisition route at a minimum of 200 corruption. Omnis is a level-76 Unique Silver Amulet with one to two levels to all skills and separate rolls for all seven resistances.

The important limitation is that finding any Omnis does not guarantee a good replacement. Each resistance can roll from 1% to 45%, and the skill bonus can be one or two. Compare the particular amulet against the defenses, recovery, and damage you would lose from your current slot before committing to a long farm or a Legendary donor.

Identify what Omnis actually provides

Omnis combines a critical-strike-chance implicit with broad resistances and skill levels. It does not introduce a unique attack or replace the skill's own unlock requirements. Its appeal is consolidating useful statistics into one slot, especially when a well-rolled copy improves several parts of your character at once.

Fire resistance+1–45%
Cold resistance+1–45%
Lightning resistance+1–45%
Void resistance+1–45%
Necrotic resistance+1–45%
Poison resistance+1–45%

The seven resistance lines are separate rolls. A high cold resistance does not imply an equally high void or poison roll, and a large total resistance sum can conceal a weak value in the type your current gear needs most. Inspect the lines individually rather than evaluating the amulet from its name.

The critical-strike implicit is increased chance, not the same thing as added base critical strike chance. Use the wording shown when comparing it with another amulet. If your build does not depend on critical strikes, that implicit may have little relevance even when its numerical roll is high.

Older Omnis descriptions may show only one level to all skills. The current range is one to two, changed in patch 1.4. Confirm the actual copy's roll before deciding whether it matches the skill points you planned to gain.

Reach the corruption eligibility threshold

Omnis is a boss-associated target. Ordinary random amulet drops in a low-corruption timeline are not the same farming route as defeating a Shade at the required difficulty. Establish an empowered timeline at 200 corruption or higher before counting Shade attempts toward an eligible farm.

Raise the timeline through the normal Shade progression loop, then check its current corruption before entering the encounter you intend to farm. A different timeline can still be below the threshold even when your main timeline has already passed it. The highest value elsewhere on the account does not replace the current timeline's eligibility.

Acquisition routeMinimum corruptionListed base chance
Shade of Orobyss20015%
Confluence of Oblivion Woven Echo20035%

The listed drop chance increases with corruption above 200 and is higher for echoes farther from the center. These figures describe the acquisition routes under their stated conditions. They do not mean every encounter at a higher value has exactly the same probability, or that a particular number of attempts guarantees the item.

Use the encounter tooltip and current timeline display instead of relying on the corruption gain alone as a proxy for eligibility. A Shade's offered increase, its distance from the center, and the timeline's current corruption answer different questions. Verify the requirement first, then compare the farming choice.

Choose Shade encounters with completion in mind

Exploring farther out in the echo web can improve the rare boss-drop opportunity. That makes a farther Shade relevant to Omnis farming, but getting there and completing the encounter still takes time. A route that looks better on the drop description may be worse for your character if it adds repeated deaths or long detours.

Continue clearing connected echoes until an appropriate Shade appears. Inspect the offered corruption change and active modifiers before entering. Avoid repeatedly selecting the first convenient Shade without checking the relationship to the center, especially when the rare-drop opportunity is your main goal.

After defeating a Shade, the echo web refreshes. Plan the next path from the new web rather than expecting to return to the identical far-out node. Existing Timeline Stability and active modifiers are not automatically reset by the Shade kill, so keep them in your difficulty assessment.

Do not keep pushing corruption indefinitely solely for Omnis. Higher corruption can improve the chance, but it also raises monster damage and health. Compare completed eligible fights per session and the ordinary echoes required to reach them. A slightly more favorable encounter is not useful when the character cannot finish it reliably.

If the route becomes unstable, improve the character or farm at a more manageable value that still satisfies the minimum. The practical objective is repeated eligible opportunities, not maintaining a number chosen from another character's high-corruption demonstration.

Use Confluence of Oblivion as an additional route

Confluence of Oblivion Woven Echo has its own listed Omnis chance and the same minimum corruption of 200. If you have access to it, it offers another way to pursue the amulet while progressing the relevant endgame content.

Treat access as a separate part of the plan. Having an empowered timeline at the threshold does not automatically mean you already possess every relevant Woven Echo. Continue the ordinary Shade route when that is the opportunity available instead of letting a missing Confluence halt all farming.

Read the Woven Echo's current requirements and encounter information before placing it. Its relationship to corruption progression can make it useful for more than one goal, but the item drop remains random. Do not regard its higher listed base chance as a guaranteed Omnis reward printed on the item.

When comparing routes, include access cost and the time required to finish. A boss opportunity already available on the web may be the practical next run, even when another route has the more attractive listed chance. Choose from the content you can complete with the resources you currently have.

Avoid turning either route into a fixed countdown. A sequence without a drop is disappointing but does not by itself establish a bug. Verify eligibility and encounter selection first, then decide whether the time spent still serves the character's progression goals.

Use faction benefits without old rank assumptions

Merchant's Guild members can purchase equippable item types regardless of rank in Season 5. If an Omnis is available in the Bazaar, compare the listed variant of the amulet, its skill roll, individual resistances, and any LP against the gold and Favor cost. Older instructions requiring particular ranks to buy an LP or non-LP unique no longer describe the current purchase gate.

Buying avoids repeating the boss for a random copy, but it does not make an unsuitable roll a useful upgrade. Filter according to the resistances you actually need and inspect the complete item before purchasing. A cheap low-rolled Omnis can fail to preserve the defenses on your current amulet.

Circle of Fortune improves self-found loot and includes a rank-10 boss-loot benefit. That can support a boss farm, but it does not guarantee an Omnis, a two-skill roll, or a particular LP value. Keep the faction benefit separate from the requirement to run the appropriate boss encounter.

CoF's new selectable reward and lens system also does not erase boss-specific acquisition rules. A broad Unique amulet category should not be treated as a replacement for Omnis's listed boss routes. Use the faction to improve the appropriate farming process and remember that faction-bound equipment may become unusable after changing alignment.

Compare the drop with your current amulet

Start with the stats you would lose. A rare or exalted amulet can provide health, recovery, damage, or a useful implicit alongside resistances. Omnis may solve several resistance gaps while leaving one of those other needs unfinished. The correct comparison is the whole equipped character after replacement.

Identify the resistance types that remain weak without the old amulet. Check whether the actual Omnis rolls fill those gaps. Extra resistance in a type you already cover may be less helpful than a moderate roll in a type your current equipment lacks, depending on the rest of the build.

Next, compare the skill bonus. A two-level copy can provide more specialization flexibility than a one-level copy, but the additional points still need useful places in the selected skill trees. Do not assume every skill gains the same amount of practical damage or defense from one extra point.

Use a clear acceptance plan:

  1. Record which defenses the current amulet supplies.
  2. Inspect all seven resistance rolls on the Omnis.
  3. Check its one- or two-level skill modifier.
  4. Compare recovery and offensive properties lost from the old slot.
  5. Confirm the level and faction requirements.
  6. Equip only if the complete replacement improves the character's intended activity.

A serviceable Omnis is often a better first target than a perfect roll. However, keeping the existing amulet is also reasonable when it provides the specific recovery or damage property you still need. The item's reputation should not make the equipment decision automatic.

Treat Legendary Potential as a separate upgrade

Omnis has an effective LP level of 100, distinct from its level-76 equip requirement. Finding the amulet and finding a useful LP version are separate tasks, and its LP behavior should not be inferred from the low or high rolls on the seven resistance lines.

If your copy has LP, prepare a compatible exalted amulet with exactly four unsealed affixes. A sealed additional affix is ignored in the transfer. Since Omnis requires level 76, its Legendary craft needs Tier 4 Temporal Sanctum, which removes the unique-level restriction.

At Tier 4, select one donor affix to guarantee its transfer. Any remaining transfers are random according to LP. Choose the affix that improves this particular Omnis replacement, such as a supported defensive or offensive gap, rather than blindly using the largest T7 number available in the stash.

Corrupted items cannot be used for ordinary Legendary crafting. Keep that restriction in mind before exposing an LP Omnis or its donor to item corruption. A potentially stronger corrupted outcome and preserving Cache eligibility are different plans, so finish the intended crafting decision first.

If a usable non-LP Omnis already improves the character, continue with it while treating LP as a later target. Do not make every other equipment upgrade wait for a rare version of one amulet. Progress on defenses, skills, and reliable boss completion supports the farm even before the final copy appears.

Diagnose an unsuccessful Omnis farm

Confirm the current timeline is at least 200 corruption and that the completed encounter is one of the listed routes. Then review the Shade's distance from the center and whether you are repeatedly selecting a less favorable opportunity for convenience. These checks improve the farming plan without inventing a hidden pity counter.

If fights are eligible but no amulet appears, decide whether to continue, use an available Confluence, or compare Bazaar options if you belong to Merchant's Guild. If an amulet appears but feels worse, recheck its individual resistance rolls and the old amulet's missing properties. The absence of a drop and the quality of a dropped copy are different problems, and each calls for a different next action.
